Ragging is Anti Social
Ragging is strictly prohibited in the institute as well as in the hostel. Junior and senior students are required cordial relationship will each other and disciplined atmosphere in the institute.
If a student is found frequently violating hostel rules and regulations, a warning may be given in the first instance. After three warnings, if still found violating there rules the student may either be dismissed or be given suitable punishment depending in the severity of the incident or mistake.
Ragging in Educational institution is banned and any one indulging in ragging is likely to be punished, which may include expulsion from the institution, suspension from the institution or classes for a limited period of fine with a public apology. The punishment may also take shape of
- Withholding scholasrships of other benefits
- Suspension or expulsion from hostel or college. If the individual indulges in ragging
The following will be termed as the act of ragging : Any disorderly conduct whether by words spoken or written or by an act which has has the effect of student, including rowdy or undisciplined activities which causes or is likely to causes annoyance , hardship or psychological harm or to raise fear or apprehension there of in fresher or junior student or asking the student to do any act or perform something which such student will not do in the ordinary course and which has the effect of causing of generating a sense of shame or embarrassment so as to adversely effect the physique or psyche of a fresher or a junior student
All concerned may note the following please.
Ragging is Unsocial, illegal and punishable.
Ragging in any form at any place in the Campus or outside, is strictly prohibited
Any student found indulging in an act of ragging will meet strict disciplinary action leading to expulsion from the organization.
Following will amount to the act of ragging
- To address seniors Madam.
- To perform mass drills.
- To perform mass drills.
- To serve various errands.
- To do menial jobs for the seniors.
- To ask/ answer vulgar questions.
- To look at pornographic picture to shock the fresher out of their innocence.
- To force drink the alcohol, scalding tea etc.
- To force acts which can lead to physical injury/ mental torture or death.
